I redesigned SZA’s 2017 album Ctrl. The album explores the conflicting feelings of being in a state of control versus a lack of control. Through my design, I explored the idea that the only way to gain control is to release it. This is represented visually through the use of spilt milk. I wanted to portray spilt milk in a way that was beautiful and definitely not something to cry over.
